Lockheed 10A S/N 1091 Built 1937. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney 985 Wasp Juniors 450 hp each. It was one of the first all metal commercial transports. Designed to carry two pilots and ten passengers or crew. This is the same aircraft type flown by Amelia Earhart on her ill fated round-the-world trip.
The aircraft was originally purchased by the Bata Shoe Company in Zlin, Czechoslovakia. It was flown around the world as a promotional stunt for the shoe company.
